Mr.
Richer is a communications/design specialist with over
15 years of experience in the field, working with world-class
companies such as Alcan, Naya, McKinsey & Company,
Bell Canada, Toyota International and the International
Civil Aviation Organization. His work with Bell Canada's
online, interactive Annual Report for the year 2000,
was key in receiving the Silver Arc award for best online
annual report.
In his work, Mr. Richer has been in charge of creating and developing communications and design solution in various formats. Mr. Richer is the artistic director at Documedia.ca with whom he also gives seminars on various web applications.
He has also been the writer/coordinator for various Macromedia products classes given at the HTML Writers Guild/International Webmasters Association for the last five years. He is the web/communications consultant for dozens of web firms all over the globe through a company named Noise Communications of whom he is the president.
Mr. Richer also had a busy life in the music world.
A graduate from McGill University in orchestral and
choral conducting, he has been conducting the Montreal
Chamber Choir (the only independent professional choir
in Montreal) for over ten years. With this group, he
was invited to perform at Carnegie Hall within two years
of the group's creation. A feat seldom accomplished
this quickly in the history of classical music performers.
He is also the artistic director and one of the composers
at nKn Studio where he composes music for film, web
sites and multimedia projects. He has, among many international
projects, composed the music for the mega multimedia
installation created for the Canadian Pavilion at the
2005 Universal Exhibition in Aichi, Japan.
