 Mr. Richard’s career within the transportation industry includes all sectors, aviation, rail, road carrier, marine and logistics. His experience includes most functional areas of business, with specific expertise at the senior management level with sales, marketing, business development, and government, community, media relations.
Norm resides and works in Montreal Quebec, Canada, based in the global headquarters of Aviation Strategies International. His current area of responsibility with ASI is Director, Special Projects. As a founding Partner of Atlantis Aviation he serves as the prime intermediary of the strategic relationship between these two companies. He maintains involvement with a subsidiary joint venture of Atlantis Aviation, Fly Fresh Freight a Trans-Atlantic Air Cargo logistics operation.
Mr. Richard has also served on various boards, including the Transportation Committee of the Halifax Chamber of Commerce, the Atlantic Canada Travel Agents Association, the Atlantic Provinces Chamber of Commerce and the Atlantic Institute of Logistics and Transportation.
He is a past recipient of the “Transportation Person of the Year Award,” for the Transportation Club of Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada.
In 2009, Atlantis Aviation was named the “Fastest Growing Company” in Atlantic Canada by Progress Corp. Magazine.
In January 2011 he achieved the Global AMPAP Associate Accreditation (Airport Management Professional Accreditation Program) delivered jointly by ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) and ACI (Airports Council International).
