 Mr.
Bless is a recent ASI associate. He is a senior aviation
consultant with extensive background in airline operations,
marketing and sales, including cost containment, logistics,
business negotiations and leadership.
Mr. Bless has been working in the travel industry
since 1969. He was initially employed by Nordair, a
regional Canadian airline known for its services to
Quebec and the North. Nordair subsequently expanded
its services to Hamilton, Ontario.
In 1970, Mr. Bless joined KLM Royal Dutch Airlines
where he occupied different positions at Dorval Airport
until 1975. He was subsequently hired by Iberia Airlines
of Spain in the passenger-sales department, initially
as Account Executive responsible for Quebec and the
Maritime Provinces, and then as District Sales Manager.
In 1987, he became Cargo Sales Manager for Canada.
Finally in 1991, he was appointed Director for all
operations of Iberia Airlines (passengers/cargo) in
Canada. In 2003 he was appointed General Manager of
ACTA Quebec (Alliance of Canadian Travel Agents). In
2005 he was hired by Expair Cargo/Air Transat as Cargo
Market Analysis United Kingdom, France, Dominican Republic
and Mexico.
Mr. Bless is fluent in French, English, Spanish and
Dutch..
